The Library at the Carewest Colonel Belcher draws both the conventional scholar and the technologically inquisitive for its two primary programs. With the guidance of volunteers a number of the computer curious have become savvy surfers. Whether they're researching a favorite topic on the internet or emailing friends and family, these inquisitive explorers refuse to be left behind in the electronic revolution.

Book Talk is another immensely well received activity whose popularity has surged since its onset. Led by two retired librarians, this program combines reading and discussion of topics of interest to its participants. Historical events and figures are popular subjects for this program which will soon extend its service to the less mobile via the Traveling Book Wagon.

In the quiet time between these popular programs you will often find someone lost in a good book, nestled in a cozy chair pulled up to the tall window that overlooks the grounds.
