At the entrance to each of the centre's 12 neighbourhood homes is a kitchen/dining room that leads to a Living Room area complete with comfortable furnishings, a television and a warm, inviting fireplace. And the fireplaces are not just a seasonal pleasure. All year 'round residents take advantage of the comfort and solace they find sitting in a cozy chair by the warm glow of the fire. Nearly every day one resident in particular wraps himself in not one but two warm sweaters and heads straight for his favorite spot by the flickering flames.

As you leave the living room, you enter a corridor with resident rooms on each side. Everyone has a private room with a bathroom and space for some of their special pieces of furniture.
