Five times each week residents and their guests congregate in The Pub for Happy Hour. A popular spot for special occasions such as birthday parties and anniversaries, or just a casual get-together, residents and their friends gather here to visit and share some laughs over a pint or two of beer. The Pub is fully licensed to provide the preferred libations of its many regular guests.

Many of the events and much of the funding for the operations of the Pub are sponsored by the Vets’ Angels.

On the first Thursday of every month it's Pig & Whistle time! The usually modest Happy Hour gathering of 20 - 25 bar patrons swells to nearly 100 on some of these occasions that might find participants two-stepping to a live country band or shuffling cheek-to-cheek to live renditions of the Benny Goodman and Glen Miller Big Bands' war time favorites.

Refreshments are served and the dance cards are full when this familiar piece of the outside world comes home to those who eagerly anticipate the spirited social gathering.
